Bharatiya Mahila Bank Ltd inaugurated its branch in Coimbatore, the 36th branch of the Bank in the country, today (10.12.2014). Smt. Usha Ananthasubramanian, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank said that the Bank encouraged women to contribute to the economic growth of the country, particularly through the SME sector. To help women unleash their hidden talents, the Bank is continuously designing, developing and introducing many women centric products, Smt.Usha Ananthasubramanian said. The Bank’s smart banking services are simple, safe and easy to use, with many value added features, she added.
Earlier Smt.Uma Balajee, Managing Director, PSR Silks inaugurating the branch lauded the efforts of the Bank towards economic empowerment of women.
The Bank already has 35 branches across the country – all branches on CBS and with onsite ATMs. Coimbatore is the second branch in Tamil Nadu.
